In addition to their core and active projects in Canada and Mexico West Times Mining controls a number of other exploration projects throughout North America.
The GQ Diamond Project is located in the evolving Wawa diamond district of Northern Ontario. Over 22,000 diamonds have been recovered from the GQ property to date and the recent discovery of +1 carat diamonds on adjacent properties has sparked renewed interest in this district.
The Corbiere Gold Project is located northeast of the GQ property. Initial drill testing of the Corbiere property intersected multiple zones of gold mineralization. The Corbiere property also has potential to host diamond bearing conglomerates/breccias similar to those at GQ.
The Trout Bay Project Ni-Cu-PGE Project is located within the prolific Red Lake Greenstone Belt of Northwestern Ontario. The Company recently completed a detailed airborne geophysical survey of the project.
The Shebandowan Gold Project is located next to the Trans-Canada Highway, 70 kilometres west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The property hosts a number of zones of gold mineralization and has been controlled by the Company and its predecessors since the 1940’s. Drill testing in 2003 led to the discovery of new zone of gold mineralization on the property which remains open for further evaluation.
